In depth condition survey

This is a more detailed inspection of a vessel, or a specified part of a vessel or its equipment, which will require parts of the vessel's structure or equipment to be opened up or stripped down by a shipwright or engineer. This type of survey may be applicable in some pre-purchase situations subject to the consent of the vendor, or may be used to address or investigate a particular problem in a vessel.
